A tremendous second half performance from Glentoran almost saw Eddie Patterson’s men overcome a two goal half time deficit in a rip-roaring game at the Oval this afternoon. Table toppers Crusaders come to the Oval tomorrow to face an in-form Glentoran side in what is undoubtedly the game of the day in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Glentoran FC – Flag Day
You will have noticed a big increase in the number of red, green and black flags both at the Oval and at away games in recent weeks. It has largely been the result of a campaign by men and women who are part of the 'Glentoran Sydenham End' to bring some colour back to the games and by doing so, encourage the players.
