Ballymac GSC would like to thank everyone for supporting their ‘Tom Patterson Memorial Charity Pool & Darts’ competitions in their clubrooms on Saturday.
Various supporters’ clubs were represented including 1st East Belfast GSC, Carryduff GSC, Freelance GSC, Fred Roberts GSC and of course the hosts, Ballymac GSC. Jay Magee also supported the event.
In February 2014 Glentoran FC facilitated a number of East Belfast Community Organisations (East Belfast Community Development Agency (EBCDA), Inner East Youth Project, Walkway Community Association and Street by Street) in their campaign to raise ‘Suicide Awareness’. Information leaflets were handed out to match goers before kick-off in our game against Linfield containing information on looking after your emotional health and contact details of services who can support people in East Belfast.
The Irish FA's under age International sides at under 13, 14 and 15 travel this Thursday to play challenge matches against Everton FC and Manchester City FC. Glentoran Academy are proud to have the most players called into these squads of any Club in Northern Ireland!
This again shows the massive strides of our Academy and the wealth of talent currently playing their trade for Glentoran. The lads called into the squad are as follows:

Which group boast the best sporting knowledge? On Thursday 5th February at 8pm Little Lilys Sports quiz aims to find out with an 8 round sports quiz of around 100 questions to see who will be top dog. The cost is £15 per head for curry(other main options) and quiz. £5 will go to the Glentoran trust. We will also have a ballot on night and private bar and aim to raise around £400. Why not have a go if you think your smart enough.... you want some... you want some...

Glentoran FC have been informed that due to a delay it is unlikely that we will hear the result of our arbitration hearing until the weekend.

A celebration to mark Ballymac GSC's 40th anniversary was held on Saturday night.
Ballymac GSC Chairman, Thomas Sewell and the members of the club welcomed guests from other Glentoran supporters' clubs, past and present Glentoran players and Glentoran FC officials to their clubrooms to mark their 40th anniversary. It was a superb evening and great to have so many of the Glentoran family together for the occasion.
