It's matchday 21 in the Danske Bank Premiership for Glentoran tomorrow and a trip to Stangmore Park to face Dungannon Swifts. The Glens have a decent record at Stangmore, winning on their last 3 visits to the Co. Tyrone venue. In the 2012-13 season our visit west resulted in a 3-1 win and last season we won 2-1 in November 2013 (Kane & Hill) and 1-0 (Garrett) on New Year's Day.

Glentoran 3-1 Ballinamallard United

Sat, 06/12/2014 - 21:16

It was a very different looking Glentoran side which stepped onto the Oval pitch this afternoon. With at least 7 players missing through injury or suspension manager Eddie Patterson was down to the bare bones. Barry Holland came back into the side at right back with Steven McCullough occupying the other full back position. Willie Garrett, missing through injury since mid-October, returned to partner Johnny Addis in the centre of the defence whilst we'd a youthful midfield of Jordan Stewart, Kym Nelson, Marcus Kane and Steven Gordon alongside the exerienced David Scullion.
