Portadown proved too strong for a Glentoran side which finished with 9 men at Shamrock Park this afternoon. Eddie Patterson made two changes to the team which defeated Institute last week, Jonny Addis replacing the injured Jay Magee at centre back and Steven Gordon coming into the midfield in place of Kym Nelson.
To tie in with the "Black Friday" madness, the Glentoran Superstore will be having a Green Red and BLACK Saturday morning when supporters can purchase Kukri merchandise at 20% discount.
This madness at the Oval will be for 3 1/2 hours ONLY from 9am - 12:30pm this Saturday 29th November 2014.
Glentoran are starting a new section for 4 and 5 year olds this week.
Two of our UEFA B licence coaches will be taking this group.
Our first session will be this Friday evening from 6 to 7pm.

Castlereagh Glentoran Supporters Club Member and Past Chairman Jim Douglas has organised a fundraising night on Friday November 28th in aid of the Ulster Hospital's MacDermott Ward, to be hosted by Castlereagh GSC. The MacDermott Ward looked after Jim while he was undergoing treatment for cancer.

Glentoran’s 2-1 victory against Institute at the Oval saw them climb to 6th in the Danske Bank Premiership table. Jay Magee gave the Glens the lead in the first half before Steven Gordon, with his first goal for the club, made it 2-nil. Robbie Hume pulled a goal back for the visitors in the final minute.
