Glentoran is pleased to announce the signing of James Ferrin for season 2016/17.
James (26), a central defender, returns to football after a year out in Australia after completing his legal studies at Queen’s University.
Glentoran 1-0 Lurgan Celtic
Glentoran recorded a comfortable 1-0 win at the Oval this afternoon with Chris Lavery again on the scoresheet. Manager, Alan Kernaghan will have been pleased with the performance however the scoreline should have been more emphatic.
Friendly Game V Carrick Rangers
The friendly against Carrick Rangers scheduled for Tuesday 19th July will take place at Seaview.
Kick off is 7:30.

This Saturday's (16/7/16) game against Lurgan Celtic has been moved to The Oval, kick off 3pm.
Glentoran 1 - 2 St Johnstone
An experimental Glentoran squad gave a good account of themselves against Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone at the Oval this afternoon. The visitors took the lead after just two minutes through Steven MacLean, but Chris Lavery levelled on 22 minutes with a well placed shot from the edge of the box. Glentoran manager Alan Kernaghan substituted all eleven players at half time and the second half line up included only three players with first team experience, Elliott Morris, Calum Birney and Patrick Cafolla. 2016 - 17 Home Kit Revealed
We didn't think we could keep you waiting anymore, so here it is, our new kit for the upcoming season.
Stephen McAlorum and Elliott Morris along with Chloe Shanks model the kit, we hope you like it.
Pre-orders are now being taken at the Superstore. Season ticket holders will receive 10% discount on the new shirt on any pre-orders placed today (Saturday 9th July).

Glentoran will start the 2016/17 league campaign at home to Dungannon Swifts on Saturday 6th August.
