Glens Success in Northern Ireland Boys' FA Cup

Our U12s and U15s both won their finals 2-0 as the U12s claimed their maiden tournament win in the NIBFA Cup and our U15s landed an incredible fourth NIBFA Cup in five seasons. Our U16s are yet to compete in their final – which was delayed due to International call ups – as the Academy goes in search of a hat-trick.

Alan Kernaghan made three changes to the side that lost to Glenavon a week ago bringing in Jonny Smith, Barry Holland and Jonny Addis with Steven Gordon, David Scullion and Chris Morrow dropping out. Crusaders arrived in East Belfast with a much rotated squad having already clinched the Premiership title with two games to spare.

Match Preview

Fri, 29/04/2016 - 21:06

Glentoran welcome newly crowned Danske Bank Premiership champions Crusaders to the Oval on Saturday.

The match will bring a close to the domestic campaign, but the season is far from over for the Glens who are still in contention for a spot in Europe via the play-offs.

Although the league has already been wrapped up for Crusaders, tomorrow’s encounter could help Alan Kernaghan’s men rediscover the form that they'd shown before the Linfield defeat.
