Nike Away 21/22 ON SALE TOMORROW

We are pleased to announce that stock of the new Nike Glentoran Away 21/22 kit has arrived!

PRE-ORDERS

Pre-orders will ship today via city air express. Pre-orders that selected collection as the delivery method can pick up their orders today between 4 PM and 6 PM at the Glentoran Superstore. 

General Sale

General sale of the Nike Glentoran Away 21/22 kit will be from tomorrow (Friday) between 3 PM and 5.30 PM at the Glentoran Superstore. 

The superstore will also open on Saturday morning from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. 

Lance Sergeant Thomas Pearson Commemorated

On Saturday last, prior to our home Danske Bank Premiership match with Portadown at the Bet McLean Oval, The club was presented with an official replica of Lance Sergeant Thomas Pearson’s Military Medal. The Medal was presented by the Irish Guards to Glentoran Chairman Stephen Henderson in the centre circle just before the start of the Portadown game. The medal was commissioned and framed by the Glentoran Community Trust, with the kind assistance of Glentoran supporter John Henry, and The Irish Guards.

It was a disappointing afternoon at the Bet McLean Oval as Glentoran were held by 10-man Portadown in the Danske Bank Premeirship. 2-1in front 23 minutes remaining, the home side failed to manage the game out and a goal, 9 minutes from time left the home fans frustrated.

Lauren named Player of the Month

Glentoran forward Lauren Wade has added further success to an already glittering end to the season by being named the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Danske Bank Women’s Player of the Month for September.

The skilful winger was instrumental in Glentoran Women’s Danske Bank Women’s Premiership triumph, with an impressive performance in the thrilling 3-2 victory over Cliftonville Ladies on the night that they clinched the title.

Having once enjoyed an intense rivalry with Glentoran that saw the two teams regularly challenge each other in top of the table clashes and the later stages of cup competitions, it is somewhat surprising that the Ports have not won a league match at the Oval since December 2013. On that occasion, goals from strikers Gary Twigg and Darren Murray gave Ronnie McFall’s men a 2-0 victory that brought an end to an eight-game unbeaten run for the Glens.
