Irish Cup Final Countdown- Cup Final Heroes

Two years ago we featured 7 articles in 7 days reliving some of Glentoran's greatest Cup Final memories in the week leading up to the Irish Cup Final in our 'Cup Final Countdown' feature. As Cup Final Fever builds again in East Belfast, glentoran.com will be creating a similar feature.

This year our theme will be 'Cup Final Heroes' as we reminisce some of Glentoran's most memorable individual contributions to our fantastic Irish Cup history. We will reveal one article per day in the build up to next Saturday's game. 

Irish Cup Final Tickets for General Sale

We are pleased to announce that general sale for Irish Cup Final tickets to the public will commence at 4pm on Wednesday from the Superstore at the Oval.

We are very glad to confirm that we will have temporary seating installed at the Sydenham End and these tickets will all be on sale at £15.00 each; no concession tickets are available for this stand. Tickets will be limited to 4 per person.

Cup final - Ticket update

The Board of Glentoran Football Club are currently working with IFA to safely increase the capacity for Glentoran fans for upcoming Irish Cup final.

We had intended to put tickets on general sale from tomorrow but this has had to be delayed until the final numbers in the Glentoran areas have been confirmed.  

We hope to be able to update supporters at some stage tomorrow (Monday). 

Huge end-of-season prize draw

To celebrate the 2014/15 season and the upcoming Irish Cup Final the club are pleased to announce an exciting competition. A number of the Glentoran playing staff have very kindly donated some special items to be used as prizes, with ballots costing just £1 each - on sale from the Milk Bar and Premier Lounge:

- Curtis Allen's match-worn and signed Irish Cup Final boots.

- Stephen McAlorum's match-worn and signed Irish Cup Final boots.

- Elliott Morris' custom, match-worn and signed PrecisionGK Irish Cup Final gloves.

Ten years ago Glentoran travelled to Seaview and clinched the league title with a 2-nil victory (McCallion & Lockhart) over Crusaders. Today the roles were reversed with the Shore Road side finally claiming the Danske Bank Premiership crown thanks to goals from Caddell and Heatley. Congratulations from everyone at Glentoran to Crusaders FC, Danske Bank Premiership champions 2014-15.
