Toal's County Antrim Shield
Tomorrow evening we travel to the Bangor Fuels Arena to face Ards in the Quarter Final of the County Antrim Shield.
The current Ards squad includes former Glentoran players Johnny Taylor, Patrick Cafolla and Salou Jallow, while goalkeeper Alex Moore has previous IPL experience with Linfield and loan spells at Dungannon Swifts. Striker Adam Salley, on loan for the season from Portadown, has scored five goals in his past three appearances.
NIFL has made following changes to Glentoran matches in the rest of 2022:

On Saturday evening the members of Raven Glentoran Supporters Club proudly presented the longest serving first team player in Glentoran’s 140-year history, Elliott Morris, with a small token of esteem for his immense contribution to the club over the past twenty seasons.
Aidan Wilson has continued his great start at the Bet McLean Oval by winning his second successive vote as September's Glentoran Player Of The Month.
Despite fierce competition in a month where the team had a 100% record and conceded not a single goal, Aidan won 51% of the supporters vote. He played in all three Danske Bank Premiership games and in our 7-0 County Antrim Shield win over Lisburn Distillery, in which he scored.
Runner up for the second consecutive month was Conor McMenamin with Shay McCartan finishing third.
Glentoran’s players celebrated the club’s 140th birthday in some style this evening with this very comprehensive and stylish Danske Bank Premiership win over Carrick Rangers at the Bet McLean Oval, extending our unbeaten start to the season to ten games.
The only change from Tuesday’s win over Warrenpoint was the inclusion of Olly Webber in goal for his second match since returning to the club. Aaron McCarey was unwell. Terry Devlin, James Singleton and Ally Roy returned to the bench after injury.

Back to the Danske Bank Premiership tomorrow night as sixth placed Carrick Rangers visit the Bet McLean Oval.
Having been tipped by many to struggle this season, Carrick Rangers find themselves comfortably in mid table after collecting thirteen points from their opening eight games; a run which has included impressive home wins over both Linfield & Crusaders.
Friday night’s special Glentoran Gazette not only marks the club’s 140th anniversary but also the launch of a new project which could greatly benefit the local community at a time of an increasingly severe cost of living crisis. Beth Stafford’s eye-catching cover fronts a 40-page issue that not only reflects the launch and the celebrations around the anniversary with special features on the club’s history and personalities from our writers Roy Downes, Brian McClelland and Matthew Brown but Ryan Clarke also looks ahead to tonight’s game against a dangerous Carrick Rangers side.
Glentoran Women closed the gap at the top of the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership to league leaders Cliftonville Ladies to just four points as they hit double figures against Mid Ulster Ladies at Ashfield.
Imogen Lancaster opened the scoring virtually from kick off for her second goal since joining the Glens. Kerry Beattie and Caragh Hamilton both netted first-half braces for the Glens as they raced into an eight-goal half-time lead, with Imogen Lancaster, Joely Andrews and Casey Howe also bagging goals with an own goal from Mid Ulster’s Amy McGarrity.
