Devine demands no regrets as Glens take on Larne in Euro showdown

Declan Devine has called on his Glentoran players to leave everything on the pitch when they travel to Inver Park on Saturday evening (Kick-off: 5.30pm) for a winner-takes-all clash with Larne - with automatic European qualification up for grabs.

With one game remaining in the Sports Direct Premiership split fixtures, the Glens must win to leapfrog Larne into second place and secure a direct route into the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.

Glentoran’s hopes of an automatic European spot were dealt a blow today as they went down 3-2 in a five-goal thriller against Dungannon Swifts in the Sports Direct Premiership at Stangmore Park.

The result keeps Declan Devine’s men in third, two points behind Larne, with the two teams set to meet in a high-stakes showdown next Saturday on the final day of the season.

Glentoran Women power past Lisburn Rangers

Glentoran Women made it two wins from two in Group B of the VBET Women’s League Cup with a hard-fought 2–0 victory over Lisburn Rangers Ladies in horrendous weather conditions at Crewe Park in Glenavy.

In a first half dominated by driving rain and swirling wind, both sides battled bravely but struggled to find rhythm. Lisburn Rangers put in a spirited and resolute display to frustrate the Glens and limit chances in a tightly contested opening 45 minutes.

Jenkins urges Glens to deliver at Stangmore in race for Europe

Jordan Jenkins has challenged his Glentoran teammates to dig deep and deliver another big performance as the Glens travel to face Dungannon Swifts this Saturday in a crucial Sports Direct Premiership clash at Stangmore Park (Kick-off: 3:00pm).

With just two games remaining in the post-split campaign, the race for second place and with it, automatic European qualification is on a knife edge. Declan Devine’s men sit second on 60 points, one clear of Larne and eight ahead of Coleraine.

His granda, Graeme Hatty, is a lifelong Glentoran supporter and a proud member of the Stormont GSC. When he reached out to the Club’s Board of Directors for support, we were only too happy to help.

Glens hit Crusaders for four

The win keeps Declan Devine’s side in second place in the table and in pole position to collect an automatic European spot with only two rounds of games remaining.

Glentoran Women commenced their 2025 season with a commanding 9–2 triumph over Larne Women in the opening round of the VBET Women's League Cup.​

The Glens set the tempo early at Inver Park, with Emily Wilson breaking the deadlock within five minutes. New signing Mia Moore quickly followed up, doubling the lead a minute later. The team's relentless pressure saw Rachel Rogan and Demi Vance each add to the tally, establishing a formidable advantage.​
