In this series he picks imaginary sides from throughout the years in a random selection of categories. A few are factual while most are subjective and by no means definitive. While he has seen the majority of players in action, a few from other eras are included because of their contribution to the club’s history.

Charlie signs for Rangers

Glentoran’s 16-year old prodigy Charlie Lindsay today completed his dream move to one of the world’s greatest clubs when he signed professional forms for Rangers.

East Belfast boy Charlie has been a star in the making since joining the club. He made his debut for the Under 20s when just fourteen, and earlier this season he became Glentoran’s youngest ever first team player when he played against Ballyclare Comrades at the Oval.
