Crusaders 1-0 Glentoran
Glentoran travelled to Seaview on Saturday off the back of a 2-1 victory at Moyola Park in the League Cup on Monday night however any hopes of kicking on from that win were well and truly misplaced as the Glens were flattered by the 1-0 reverse by full-time.
Glens face Crues at Seaview
It has been a frustrating start to the season for Glentoran. Performances have been decent despite the squad being limited and we have played some very encouraging football. An excellent display to draw at the defending champions Cliftonville on the opening day and a solid victory over Warrenpoint made for an encouraging start. However it was our other two fixtures that have caused such frustration.

Glentoran progress in Wasp Solutions League Cup
Goals from Jordan Stewart and Stephen McAlorum helped Glentoran defeat Moyola Park 2-1 this evening. Whilst Glentoran created numerous chances throughout the 90 minutes their inability to kill off the home side left the travelling supporters on edge right until the final whistle.
The 200 Club

This number will be yours from this date forward, no matter if you only sign up for a month, year or forever. Ballinamallard United 2 - 2 Glentoran
Not for the first time this month there was injury time heartbreak for the Glens as Mark Stafford’s 93rd minute header rescued a point for Ballinamallard at Ferney Park. There was one change to last Saturday’s starting eleven, Stephen McAlorum coming into midfield in place of Jim O’Hanlon and taking over as captain.
Mark Miskimmin
