Glentoran produced what can only be described as their best showing of the season thus far at the Oval yesterday as four goals in 24 second half minutes put Ballymena United, traditionally a bogey side for the Glens at home, to the sword.
Glentoran face Ballymena Utd at the Oval in the Danske Bank Premiership this weekend looking to bounce back after a disappointing performance in mid-week in the Co Antrim Shield. It is the second meeting of the teams this campaign, the previous encounter at the Showgrounds ending in a 2-2 draw on 13th September with Fra McCaffrey and Jordan Stewart netting for the Glens. Glentoran will travel to Windsor Park on Saturday 15th November to play Linfield in the Danske Bank Premiership, kick-off 3pm.
Glentoran fans require tickets for this fixture. These will go on sale at the Oval tomorrow as outlined below.

Will be on sale at the Oval ticket office on Saturday 1st November from 12 noon until 2.30pm for SEASON TICKET HOLDERS & LIFE MEMBERS ONLY. Any tickets remaining after 2.30pm will go on general sale.

Facilitated by Alex Trickett, Head of Sport, Twitter UK, clubs from the Danske Bank Premiership and Belfast Telegraph Championship were given an insight into the practices used by clubs, associations and players from all around the world.
It is hard to believe but we are almost a quarter of the way through the 2014/15 season and this season is already shaping up to be a record breaker for the Academy!
To date we have had 42 players either currently in advanced trials with or selected for Northern Ireland squads at various ages from U11 to U19. The stand out stories here being 10 players at under 15 and 10 players at under 14 in the relevant NI squads - more than any other club!
