What a weekend for Glentoran Poland!! Our Polish Academy 2009s squad were in London this weekend to compete the Lech Poznan London Cup. The boys performed very well with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat.
They rounded the trip off with a tour of Arsenal FC Emirates Stadium. Well done to Artur Kopyt and his coaching staff, players, and parents for representing themselves and Glentoran with pride.

The Academy Smart Machine is out and about on the streets and roads of Northern Ireland over the next few weeks recruiting players of all ages to the Glentoran Academy for next season.
Make sure to keep your eyes peeled, snap a photo, and post it on the Glentoran Academy wall at https://www.facebook.com/Glentoranfcacademy/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE for a chance to win some great prizes!!!

Glentoran FC is pleased to announce the following signings:
John McGuigan (23) has returned to Glentoran after 2 successful seasons with Warrenpoint Town. John came through the Glentoran Academy and in his previous spell made 62 first team appearances following his debut away to Renova in the Europa League in June 2011. John has been capped by Northern Ireland up to U21 level and scored 19 goals from midfield this season as Warrenpoint won the NIFL Championship. He has signed a two year contract.
Glentoran U20 (in the tournament as the traditional Glentoran II - record 11 time winners of the trophy) tonight made it comfortably through the second round of the George Wilson Cup with a 5 - 1 win at the Oval over Annagh United Reserves.
Salou Jallow, Karl Hamill, Paddy Cafolla and Paul O'Neill all returned to the team following recent first team activity while Nacho Novo and Dwayne Nelson featured as over age players.
The Wee Glens' goals came from Karl Hamill, Eddie Shaw, Kris Gaw, Paul O'Neill and Paddy Cafolla.
The Board of Directors of Glentoran FC were proud to invite the Glentoran Academy Under 13 team into the Boardroom today in recognition of their achievement of becoming Champions of NIBFA National League.
The boys were then presented with their League Championship trophy on the pitch before today’s Danske Bank Premiership game with Ards.
The boys clinched the title with two games to spare in a win on Thursday night over Ridgeway Rovers. Incredibly they have maintained a 100% record in the league so far this season with just two games left to play!
Eric Foley’s second half header saw Glentoran finish their season with a 1-1 draw against Ards at the Oval to finish in 9th place in the Danske Bank Premiership. There were a couple of changes to the line up from last week’s victory over Portadown, goalkeeper Dwayne Nelson coming in for the injured Elliott Morris and James Ferrin replacing Jay Magee.
