For the opening game of this new NIFL Premiership season Glens manager Ronnie McFall chose to start new signing Conor Pepper after the 24 year old Dubliner signed on Tuesday and fellow new face Nigel Prentice was named among the substitutes.

Bucket Collection for Kodi

Sun, 29/07/2018 - 20:18

Following our story on Thursday evening about 10-year old Kodi Brown (sister of our young Academy player, Blake), we are pleased to announce that as part of the club’s efforts to help Kodi and her family, there will be a bucket collection at our home match v Cliftonville.

As outlined in the previous article, Kodi has a brain tumour. She is presently in Germany receiving ground breaking treatment not available in the UK. This essential treatment comes at an enormous cost and is expected to last for 6 months.

Conall Delaney Leaves Glentoran

Sun, 29/07/2018 - 19:20

Following discussions with the management team on Thursday evening, Conall Delaney has had his contract terminated by mutual consent and has left the club to seek regular first team opportunities elsewhere.

Conall joined us in 2016 after spells with Glenavon and Crusaders. He made his debut in March 2017 in a 4-2 win at Ballymena Showgrounds. He made 19 first team appearances, 13 of them last season.

We thank Conall for his hard work and commitment to the club over the past two seasons and wish him all the best in his future career.
