A hard-fought contest at Lakeview Park saw Glentoran battle back to secure a point, as they missed an opportunity to climb to third in the Sports Direct Premiership.

Glentoran took an early lead through Dylan Connolly, but Loughgall struck back twice in the first half to lead 2-1 at the break. A clinical second-half strike from Charlie Lindsay ensured the Glens salvaged a point in what was a hotly contested match.

Season Ticket Holders

Season Ticket Holders will have exclusive priority to claim their ticket for the Boxing Day clash starting from 10:00am on Monday 2nd December to midday on Thursday 5th December.

James Singleton signs contract extension until 2027

Glentoran Football Club is delighted to announce that James Singleton has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract extension, keeping him at the BetMcLean Oval until 2027.

Since joining Glentoran in July 2022, Singleton has been a key player for the club, making 90 appearances and scoring 6 goals across all competitions.

The 29-year-old’s versatility has seen him excel in a variety of positions in defence and midfield, while his leadership qualities have been evident whenever he has captained the side

Big Night for Ballynahinch GSC. and Jonny

Friday night was a big night at the BetMcLean Oval for the Ballynahinch Glentoran Supporters Club, and not just because of the match result!

Club members presented a cheque to Keith Pyper Fundraising & Events Officer AutismNI. The £1000 donated to AutismNI was raised at a Glentoran Legends match v Ballynahinch United Over 40s and through club member Ricky Tate’s head shave in Jordy’s Bar in the town, both in August. Glentoran Manager Declan Devine joined the Ballynahinch crew for the presentation. A great night all round!

Devine rallies players and fans for ‘Big Two’ Derby

The sides last met at the beginning of October, when the Glens came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory at the National Stadium with goals from Jay Donnelly, Frankie Hvid, and Cammy Palmer.

Declan Devine is calling for his players and Glentoran fans to pick up where they left off in the last meeting between the two sides.

Devine said: “What people forget about the game at the National Stadium is that we were under a bit of pressure in the first half, and the fans stayed with us, even when we were a goal down.

Half Season Tickets Now On Sale

Glentoran half season tickets are on sale from today (Thursday 21st November) until 12 noon on Friday 6th December.

A half season ticket will secure guaranteed admission to:

  • All Home Sports Direct Premiership matches from 7th December until the end of the season.
  • Boxing Day match v Linfield
  • All Post-Split Fixtures

Prices are set at: Adult: £105 / Concession: £70
