The Chairman and Board of Directors would like to thank all the volunteer coaches and staff of the Academy in the run up to Monday night’s live Sky Sports TV match v Portadown.
We recognise the hugely important and growing role the Academy has within the Club and the need to produce young local talent to play in our first team.
Recently we have started to see the success the Academy can bring to the first team with a number of graduates breaking into the team and impressing. On Monday evening the entire Academy, players, coaches and parents will the guests of the Club and once again the supporters will be given an opportunity to thank them and congratulate them on their successes to date.
The Board understand the enormous amount of time and energy needed by the coaches and administration staff from Conor Marlin to William Cameron ( Kaiser ) and to all the volunteers and coaches who are helping make GFC the best Academy in the country…a big thank you from the Board, it is much appreciated.
