Prior to last week's home match v Cliftonville, Conor McMenamin was presented with the Glentoran Supporters Player of the Year award by senior officers of the Castlereagh Glentoran Supporters Club, long time organisers of the award.
Conor has scored 20 goals and innumerable assists this season, a feat that this weekend earned him a place in the NIFWA Team of the Season, alongside his top scoring team mate Jay Donnelly, runner up in this supporters' vote. To date he has scored 26 goals from 55 appearances since rejoining the club from Cliftonville on the last day of the January 2021 transfer window, establishing himself as a key member of the Glentoran starting 11.
Congratulations to Conor from everyone at Glentoran and thanks as always to Castlereagh club for organising. Photographed with Conor are Castlereagh GSC Chairman Jim Flanagan, Vice Chairman David O'Sullivan and Jim's grandson Charlie Flanagan.
