Glentoran travel to face Warrenpoint Town at Milltown on matchday 25 of the Danske Bank Premiership. It will be the third meeting of the teams this season with Glentoran taking maximum points from the previous two games.
The sides met at the Oval back in mid-August. Warrenpoint Town took an early lead in the game but goals from Curtis Allen (2) and Fra McCaffrey saw the Glens win 3-1, although the scoreline did flatter the home side.
Glentoran then travelled to Warrenpoint in late October. Curtis Allen was again on target; 3 times in fact with a perfect hattrick. Marcus Kane and Kym Nelson got the other 2 goals for the Glens with Daniel Hughes and Mark Hughes replying for the hosts. Highlights from that game can be seen on BBC Sport NI HERE.
Skipper Elliott Morris should hopefully make his 561st club appearance tomorrow however he missed both previous games against Warrenpoint Town; Chris Keenan playing in the first fixture and Aaron Hogg the second.
Curtis Allen will miss tomorrow's game with an ankle injury. Allen had netted 5 against the league's basement club out of his total of 13 goals so far this season. However Jordan Stewart and David Scullion have also been hitting the back of the opposition net regularly with 10 and 9 goals respectively. The midfield have also been chipping in with Fra McCaffrey and Steven Gordon contributing another 10 goals. Danny McKee will probably lead the line again and the young striker will be looking to add to his 2 goals in his last 3 outings.
