2-nil down, Glentoran produced a devastating 20 minute spell, scoring 4 times to grab a place in Saturday's Europa League play-off final.
Glentoran went into this game as underdogs having finished 16 points behind their ‘Big Two’ rivals in the Danske Bank Premiership but form often goes out the window in these fixtures and that was certainly the case at the National Stadium on Wednesday evening.
After a successful appeal the red card against Curtis Allen has been rescinded. This means Curtis is now available for selection in tonight's Europa League play-off match against Linfield at the National Stadium. Tickets are still available and outlets can be found here.

Linfield v Glentoran
Wednesday 9th May 2018, 7.45pm
On Wednesday evening we travel across the city to face Linfield in what is surely the most important ”Big Two” match in a number of years with the winners going through to the final of the Europa League playoff on Saturday. This gives us as a club a real opportunity to redeem ourselves by salvaging something significant from the season. This system is clearly an opportunity for us, having beaten each of the other teams involved once this season.
Please see below agreed communications from NIFL and the PSNI for Glentoran supporters regarding arrangements for tomorrow night's play off at Windsor Park:
"The Europa League Play Off Semi Final between Linfield and Glentoran takes place on Wednesday, 9 May 2018 at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm. The match is being played at the same time as the Ed Sheeran concert at Boucher Road Playing Fields.
Another fantastic day for the Glentoran Academy with the Glentoran U14's romping to a NIBFA Cup win.
The U14's had already been crowned National League champions and All-Ireland champions before adding the Northern Ireland Boys FA Cup to their collection, courtesy of a 7-nil final win over arch rivals Linfield.
The U14's remain undefeated this season and next weekend will be seeking to land back to back trebles when they play in the League Cup final - again against Linfield.
The Glentoran Under 18 team on Friday evening became the second of our Academy teams to win the League Championship at their age level with their 2-2 draw with second place St. Oliver Plunkett FC at Allen Park, Antrim. The Wee Glens goals were scored by captain Sean Gallagher and Jamie Glover. Congratulations to all the boys and their coaches from all at Glentoran. Everyone at Glentoran is proud of the outstanding progress being made by our Academy teams.
