Cliftonville Away Ticket Information

We have been informed this morning that admission to our match against Cliftonville on 17th January will be ticket only.

Due to the tight turnaround, tickets on this occasion will be going on general sale on Thursday 13th January from 3 pm – 6 pm from the Glentoran Superstore.

Supporters clubs can email Ruth – superstore@glentoran.com with ticket requirements for members.

Any remaining tickets (after Thursday) will be on general sale on Saturday 15th between 10 am – 12:30 pm.

 

Dergview 2-3 Glentoran

Glentoran survived a late second half fightback to book their spot in the next round of the Samuel Gelston's Whiskey Irish Cup. Leading 2-nil at the break it was quite comfortable for the East Belfast men but when Dergview equalised with just 7 minutes remaining extra-time loomed. However a spectacular goal on debut for midfielder Sean Murray less than 2 minutes after Dergview's leveller saw the Glens emerge victorious.

All conquering Glentoran Women have made history for the second time this week as top scorer Kerry Beattie has moved into full time football by joining Glasgow City in time for the 2022 season. This is the first professional player transfer involving a Northern Irish club and the first in which a local club has received a transfer fee.

Glentoran Women’s double clean sweep winning captain Jessica Foy today made football history by signing the first professional contract for a female footballer with a club in Northern Ireland. Jess’ contract represents the start of a process of professionalising Northern Ireland’s most successful squad.

Four in a row for Jay

Jay Donnelly's continued great form  has won him his fourth  successive Glentoran Player of the Month awards for 2021-2022.

Jay continued to excel in December with six goals in five games as the Glens banked thirteen league points out of fifteen in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Runner up  for the second month in a row was Seanan Clucas with Aaron McCarey third in the supporters' vote.

Well done Jay ......  yet again!

Glentoran 2-3 Larne

Glentoran's unbeaten run of 14 games in the Danske Bank Premiership came to an end at the Bet McLean Oval this evening; Larne winning the game 3-2 and recording their first victory at the East Belfast venue since 1978.
