Volunteer Admin Assistants needed

Do you have a few hours to spare each week, have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and have access to e-mailing and printing facilities.

If your answer is yes to the above, then you can help play an important role within the Glentoran Academy as we progress and expand.  This role would involve inputting data such as match reports, training records, player contact and assessment details etc.

Shamrock Rovers v Glentoran

Glentoran travel to Dublin on Monday to face holders, Shamrock Rovers in the opening round of this year's Setanta Sports Cup. 

Approximately 350 - 400 supporters are expected to travel to Dublin and we have been advised that they should join the M50 just south of Dublin Airport. Travel around the M50, exiting for Tallaght at the N81.

A Matthew Tipton penalty just after half time gave Linfield all three points at a windswept Oval this evening.  The Glens were forced into a number of changes through injury and suspension with Steven Gordon making his first ever start and young midfielder Kim Nelson making his debut.  The home side made a bright start forcing a couple of corners in the opening minutes but as the half progressed Linfield, with the strong wind in their favour, gradually gained a foothold in the game.  In the first half hour there was little to trouble either goalkeeper with a Matthew Tipton shot and a Calum

The Glens meet the Blues at the Oval on Friday night in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Kick off is 7:45pm and TICKETS ARE NOT REQUIRED.

Admission to all parts of the stadium is Adult £10 and Concession £7.

Premier Lounge opens at 6pm and will have live coverage of the Big 2 match on all screens in the bar. It's Members and Members Guests only on Friday night so if your name isn't down, your not coming in. Do not forget your membership cards either guys/girls please. The Lounge will be open late after the game too, so come and enjoy a drink with all your fellow Glenmen/women after the game. Non members welcome after the final whistle.

Supporters travelling to Dublin

Can a representative of all supporters' clubs running buses to our Setanta Sports Cup game against Shamrock Rovers in Dublin on Monday 24th February please contact the club at the email address below and confirm what size of bus and how many supporters they have travelling to the game.  

Glentoran FC are working in conjunction with both the PSNI & Garda to ensure there is sufficient parking facilities etc for those travelling to the game.

We will post advice to ALL supporters attending the game over the next few days.

There are a couple of events coming up which may be of interest to Glentoran fans.

Saturday 1st March 2014

Internet GSC in association with Jason Hill Testimonial are running a fundraiser on Saturday 1st March 2014 at The Oval. 
"The Wee John Show" featuring John Clifton as Erasure, Black Eyed Peas, Tina Tuner and many more will kick off at 8pm and promises to be a FANTASTIC night. Admittance is £6 and includes supper.
Half the proceeds will go towards paying buses and other expenses for Glentoran 1st and 2nd teams
