Three Glens players are shortlisted for individual awards at the NIFL Northern Ireland Football Awards on Saturday evening.
In addition to Joely Andrews (announced yesterday) our exceptional central midfielder Terry Devlin is in the running for the Danske Bank Northern Ireland Young Footballer of the Year. Terry (19) has established himself as one of the first names on Rodney McAree’s teamsheet this season, having played 40 first team games since he signed from Dungannon Swifts in August, scoring 3 goals. Terry has been outstanding throughout the season and has quickly established himself as a real crowd favourite at the Bet McLean Oval.
Also our new signing Emily Wilson will be competing with Joely as two of the three nominees for the Danske Bank Women’s Player of the Year. Emily (21) earned her nomination for her excellent form for Crusaders Strikers and Northern Ireland throughout the 2022 season. She was the NIFL Player of the Month for September before rejoining the Glens for 2023.
