Bobby Burns has won the supporters’ vote as the November Glentoran "Player of the Month", with an overwhelming 80% of votes cast.
In the course of the month, Bobby started five of our seven games, coming on as an impact sub in the other two. He bookended his excellent months with goals v Loughgall in our first game of the month and one in the dying minutes of our last game at Portadown.

Bobby said to www.glentoran.com: “I am absolutely delighted to win player of the month. I had originally signed with Glentoran as a midfielder. Breaking my leg in my first year and deputising at left back meant I was not able to show the fans my true potential but I have been delighted to get a good run-in central midfield this season. It has been great to stay injury free and chip in with a few goals and I really appreciate all the support from the fans. While it has been a good month for me personally, we are all disappointed with some of the results. We are working hard to rectify our mistakes and I am confident that we have the potential to go forward and achieve the success that we all desire.

Congratulations on a very highly deserved award Bobby.
