Our players out on loan have continued to impress at their respective clubs.
Kirk McLaughlin
Forward Kirk McLaughlin has featured for NIFL Lough41 Championship side Loughgall in all of their 4 league games throughout the month as the Villagers remain top of the table.
Dundela Trio
Forward Josh Stewart has played 4 full games for Dundela in March, he scored a hat-trick in the 'Duns' 3-2 win against Dergview. Johnny Russell is also performing for our East Belfast neighbours, the left sided player has put in some fine performances and also grabbed a goal against Ards. Midfielder Bailey Locke has been involved in match-day squads and hopefully throughout April will get some valuable minutes.
Dungannon Trio
Forwards Jordan Jenkins has started all 4 of Dungannon Swifts games in March. Two wins over Cliftonville at Solitude, one being an Irish Cup quarter final. Ben Cushnie is back playing and has featured in all of Dungannons games in March following his injury. Darren Cole is unfortunately still injured, the defender hasn’t featured since August. The Swifts will face Crusaders in the Irish Cup semi final on 1st April at Mourneview Park.
Michael Argyrides
Mike has continued his fine form since winning the NIFWA February Championship Player of the Month award. The shot stopper had a fantastic performance against Larne in the Irish Cup quarter final, he has also kept two clean sheets in March.
Ally Roy
Following an unbeaten February, Greenock Morton have failed to win in March, drawing 3 games and losing 1. Still in contention for a play-off spot in a very competitive Scottish Championship, Ally will be hoping to contribute in the final 7 games.
Rodney McAree: "It has been good to see the majority of our loan players getting plenty of game time, it's important the players we decide to loan to other clubs get the minutes and the experience necessary so thankfully that's happening for most. Delighted to see Josh Stewart scoring a hat-trick for Dundela at Dergview and Jonny Russell also getting on the score sheet against Ards. Best wishes to JJ and Ben for the upcoming Irish Cup semi-final for Dungannon Swifts which is a good occasion for the boys to be involved in."
