The Raven Glentoran Supporters Club proudly presented a cheque for £1,000 to Glentoran Chairman Colin Jess last night, as a donation to GFC1882.

Throughout last season, the members of the Raven GSC engaged in various fundraising activities, including the popular Last Man Standing competition. At our final club meeting of the season, members decided to make this generous donation to the board. Additionally, we offered financial assistance to our current members, providing either a £40 donation towards their season ticket or a voucher of the same amount for use in the club superstore at the start of the new season.

Several club members and friends enjoyed a subsidised day out in the club’s hospitality area for the Ballymena game on March 23rd, another highlight of our fundraising efforts. Our club was also able to sponsor shirts for both the men's and women's teams, and we look forward to continuing our support in the future.

The Raven is always open to new members. For more information, please contact the club through its social media channels.

The Raven GSC is proud to continue its support of Glentoran FC. Over the years via shirt sponsorship of both men’s and women’s teams, hiring the clubs match day hospitality suite, as well as ongoing purchasing of season tickets in support of the day to day running of the club. The club has continued to subsidise its members by providing its contributions for such activities.

Following the recent GFC 1882 Ltd AGM and the discussion on finances, the club members met to agree to purchase additional shares and were delighted to hand over a cheque of £1000 to GFC 1882 Ltd Chairman Colin Jess.

Colin Jess said “we appreciate this contribution by The Raven which will help repay a portion of the outstanding GFC1882 loans. In my other role as Chairman of GRC I also appreciate the support that the club has given through its purchase of season tickets, replica shirts and sponsorship. I wish to pass on my thanks for their ongoing work.”
