Glentoran’s Northern Ireland international midfielder Joely Andrews has been shortlisted for the 2022 Women’s Premiership Player of the Year, with the result to be announced at the NIFL Northern Ireland Football Awards on Saturday evening.
The nomination is another tribute to Joely’s amazing consistency as she was the 2021 winner of the Ulster Footballer of the Year Award. Joely , who turns 21 next week has been at Glentoran since she was 8 years old.
If Joely wins the award she will follow in the immediate footsteps of her teammate and fellow Glentoran Girls Academy graduate, Kerry Beattie, last season’s winner.

Also congratulations to longstanding Glentoran Women player and Coach Gail Redmond who was today named as the new manager of the Northern Ireland Women’s Under-17 and Under-19 international teams.
