The Glens continued their unbeaten pre-season and finished their preparation for the Europa Conference with a useful and challenging game against newly promoted Championship team Bangor this afternoon at the Bet McLean Oval.
In a tight first half Junior headed Glentoran in front in the fourth minute, but the sides went in level at half time after Ben Arthurs equalised on 33 minutes. But it was a different second half as goals from Junior (again), Luke McCullough and sub Kirk Mclaughlin secured an ultimately comfortable win.
Next up is the first round of our opening Europa League tie v Gżira United FC in Malta. Kick off 6pm UK time.
